1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Hotel Zephyr Manali website and when you make or take up a booking with us. By using the website or booking a stay you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or make a booking.
2. Bookings and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only when we send you written confirmation (email, WhatsApp or booking reference). Submitting the availability form is a request, not a confirmed reservation.
- The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the accuracy of all details provided and for the conduct of everyone in the party.
- Room types, bed arrangements and views are as described, but we may assign a comparable room if the one booked is unavailable for reasons beyond our control.
- Maximum occupancy for each room must be respected. Extra guests, extra beds and children may carry additional charges, which we will tell you about in advance.
3. Rates, taxes and payment
- Rates shown on the website are per room per night in Indian Rupees (INR) and are a guide. The rate confirmed in writing at the time of booking is the one that applies.
- Applicable government taxes, including GST, may be added to the quoted rate unless the confirmation says they are included.
- We may ask for an advance payment or card guarantee to hold a booking. Balance payment is due at check-in or as stated in your confirmation.
- Peak seasons, holidays and local events may carry different rates and minimum-stay requirements.
- Charges for meals, transport, activities and other extras are payable separately unless included in your package.
4. Cancellation, changes and no-shows
The cancellation terms in your booking confirmation apply. As a general guide, which we may vary for peak dates and special packages:
- Free cancellation or date change if requested well ahead of arrival, within the window stated in your confirmation.
- Later cancellations may be charged a part of the stay, up to the first night or more for peak dates.
- No-shows and early departures may be charged in full, subject to the confirmation.
- Refunds, where due, are returned to the original payment method within a reasonable time.
Please check your confirmation for the exact terms that apply to your booking.
5. Check-in, check-out and ID
- Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and may be charged.
- All adult guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa. We cannot accommodate guests who do not provide the identification the law requires.
- We may refuse or end a stay where identification is not provided, where a booking is made with false information or where these terms are broken.
6. Guest conduct and house rules
- Please respect other guests and our neighbours: keep noise low after 10:00 PM.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Smoking in rooms may incur a cleaning charge.
- Illegal substances, weapons and anything that endangers others are not allowed on the property.
- Visitors in rooms must be registered with reception and may be asked to leave by 9:00 PM.
- Open flames, cooking appliances and heaters brought by guests are not allowed in rooms. Bonfires are held only in the designated area under staff supervision.
- Pets are allowed only if agreed in writing before arrival.
7. Damage, loss and liability
Guests are responsible for loss of or damage to hotel property caused by them or their party and may be charged the repair or replacement cost. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, vehicles or valuables except where the law says otherwise or where caused by our negligence. Please use the in-room safe or reception for valuables.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
8. Mountain travel and activities
Manali and the Kullu Valley are mountain destinations. Weather, landslides, snowfall and road closures can delay or prevent travel. We will help where we can but are not liable for travel disruption outside our control. Adventure activities (such as paragliding, rafting or trekking) are run by independent operators; you take part at your own risk and subject to the operator's terms.
9. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay in providing services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road or highway closures, power or utility failure, government orders, strikes or public emergencies. Where we cannot host you, we will offer a date change, an alternative or a refund of amounts paid for the affected stay.
10. Using this website

- You must not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it or submit false, harmful or unlawful information through its forms.

11. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the district where the hotel is located in Himachal Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have under law. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern directly.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you make a booking is the one that applies to that booking.
